What does ‘building the future of education’ mean to you?
For me, ‘building the future of education’ means gleaning educational best practices from global education innovators that go beyond the traditional classroom experience. In order to improve the quality of American education, leaders need to be open to creative solutions to educational challenges, and work towards holistic education that focuses on developing students’ thought processes and sensitivities as opposed to only focusing on skill development. I hope to contribute to building the future of education by remaining part of the conversation and implementing what I learn in my community.
